Founded 1979 as an artists’ collective, the autonomous structure Stadtwerkstatt is celebrating its 40 year existence. STWST48x5, the fifth edition of STWST’s 48 hour showcase extravaganza announces STAY UNFINISHED as its thematic approach this year and brings together critical producers and artists to negotiate permanently unfinished conditions. STWST48x5 STAY UNFINISHED addresses the programmatically unfinished, the real existing utopia and the ever expanding art contexts of the new.
